Good morning, friends.I hate that most times I hear a new song my first thought goes to "Is this AI?"GenAI has poisoned music discovery for me, so that unless I dig into its origin I cannot relax enough to enjoy it.But anyway, it's #/BandcampFriday and there's a lot of musicians on the Fediverse who don't use AI. Check the hashtag, they'll likely be posting things today.A lot of places have gone to crap, but it's a bit nicer here, you know?

Content warning:beverage talkOn a whim I bought some "Strawberry Sparkling Water" from Aldi. I hadn't had it and it was cheap, so why, not?I've heard of LaCroix being described as "Flavored by someone yelling fruit names at it."I think I found the sparkling water that was in the next factory over while the yelling was happening.Lesson learned, this is not better than just drinking water.
