Just spent too much time troubleshooting why Kdenlive didn't have a "Master" button like all the tutorials said it should only to figure out through trial and error that it's called "Sequence" now, but the documentation I've seen doesn't mention this.I don't mind the change, I do mind that it should say this in the online manual where it talks about the Master button.

I don't blame principals or superintendents for the ubiquity of high stakes overtesting. These things are mandated at a level where we're looking at politicians (or those appointed by them) thinking they're the best choice, because we've always done it that way. This article's from 3 years ago and it still says what a lot of us already knew: https://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2023/11/new-study-finds-wide-gap-in-sat-act-test-scores-between-wealthy-lower-income-kids/

I've been on a roll for this years' Blaugust. With the new school year looming, I have to be. Goal is to have a healthy buffer in place before my first day back in a building. I'm writing things now before I lack the energy to think. If all goes well I'll still manage one post a day, minimum, but I'm not going to count on that after the 12th.
