Adobe Apologists: "Well Adobe trained its AI on stuff they had the rights to, so it's far more ethical and that makes it OK to use."Adobe: "Did we hear you say AI? Great! Good morning, friends.I hate that most times I hear a new song my first thought goes to "Is this AI?"GenAI has poisoned music discovery for me, so that unless I dig into its origin I cannot relax enough to enjoy it.But anyway, it's #/BandcampFriday and there's a lot of musicians on the Fediverse who don't use AI. Check the hashtag, they'll likely be posting things today.A lot of places have gone to crap, but it's a bit nicer here, you know?
